In September, locals are back in town and the main tourist season starts coming to an end. On the other hand, there is suddenly plenty to do concerning concerts, exhibitions and shows that aren't meant primarily for tourists, so you can have some authentic experiences while in autumn Prague.

One of the most original events in Prague - Letní Letná - a festival focusing on the phenomenon of Cirque Nouveau - comes to its second half at the beginning of September. Sign up for the Prague Birell Grand Prix - a night run through Prague starting on Wenceslas Square with a 10 km route for men and a 5 km route for women and youngsters over 15 years old.
